Women Who Stand/Baltimore is coordinating a bike ride across the state of Maryland. We have a dedicated group of women who are riding 365 miles in five days to support 365 days of World Relief’s work in Malawi and Cambodia (www.worldrelief.org/ride365).
You can be a part of RIDE/365! Even if riding for this kind of distance isn’t your thing, you can still be a part of this endeavor by:
1. Supporting one of the team members. Go to http://worldrelief.org/ride365/bios to meet the team. Maybe someone you know is riding and you could be part of their support team.
2. Praying for this endeavor. You can pray for safety and health of the team, for good weather, for this ride to be a blessing to women and children and Cambodia and Malawi.
3. Coming to the “Welcome Home” party on Sunday, September 23 at 3PM at Fort McHenry. It would be an encouragement for the riders to return home to your cheers and support.
“Never doubt that a community of thoughful, committed women, filled with the power and love of God, using gifts they have identified and developed, and pursuing passions planted in them by God — never doubt that these women can change the world.”
